Have you ever seen something really cool and upon taking a photo, realized your phone camera just wasn't cutting it? You're not alone. Many photographers got their start because they simply wanted to capture their memories, their perspective, to share with others, and look back on in the future.

Welcome to the beginning of your photography/videography journey. My name's Daryll and I'll be your guide on this life long adventure of perspective.

Photography is the art of taking a picture. This is done using a camera (phones included), and a myriad of other tools like lenses, flashes, tripods, and more. There is a long and rich history to photography starting with the heliograph, later with the daguerreotype, and of course film and digital SLR cameras, and currently mirrorless. What was once a very difficult and expensive craft to get into has now become accessible to anyone with a cell phone. That said, it takes a true eye for the art to make a good photo regardless of the tool you use, and it's through learning and constant practice that you can train this eye and begin to capture the world the way you see it.

My goal with mentorship is to help you discover your inner artist. I love photography and I love sharing my passion with others. It's only through the advice and mentorship of others that I got to where I am, so I hope that I can help you as well. Whether your goal is to simply pick up a new hobby, create art, or even become a professional and build a business, I will teach you everything I can to help you reach that goal.
