Holly and Ryan got married!
Holly and I had just finished some portraits when she asked me, "do you do video?"
At that time, I had been developing my video portfolio for a couple of months, so I was happy to say, "yes, I do!"
She asked if I would do video for her wedding, and I was more than happy to oblige.
Holly and I have been friends since high school, so it was super special for me to be a part of her wedding day!
When I wasn't actively filming something, I also had a chance to take a few photos, and I'm so glad I did! Holly and Ryan are so photogenic! And their venue, Vineyard Estate, at New Kent Winery, was just gorgeous.
It was a crisp 83 degrees, with blue skies, peppered by texturing clouds. All their friends and family filtered into the ceremony area, and before you know it, the procession was beginning. Tears were shed (mostly by Holly's maid of honor), and the crowds cheered as Holly and Ryan shared their first kiss as a married couple.
After the ceremony, we were escorted by golf cart all over the estate, for the perfect portraits and video moments. The vineyards themselves were especially pretty at sunset.
As we shifted into the reception, energy was high as DJ Kat introduced the wedding party! People danced, dined, and created new memories together.
Finally, as the night was winding down, friends and family gathered in lines and lit sparklers for the exit.
